LOT 72 - Pintail, drake, Carver: Animal Trap decoy company, Pascagoula, MS. The Animal Trap Company of North America (ATCNA) produced hunting decoys for a greater number of years than any other decoy factory. This decoy has two paper tags from previous owners that say: "Sprigtail, Mississippi, Animal Trap Co., c. 1900, aquired 1972." The other tag says: "Mississippi, Animal Trap Co, Machine Decoy, 1900." Bottom is stamped: "Animal Trap Company of Miss, Pascagoula, Miss." There are two rust rings on the bottom from old hunting weights.
