WWII GERMAN MG42 (which has been DEMILLED and made NON-FUNCTIONAL) The MG 42 (shortened from German: Maschinengewehr 42, or "machine gun 42") is a 7.92×57mm Mauser general purpose machine gun designed in Nazi Germany and used extensively by the Wehrmacht and the Waffen-SS during the second half of World War II. Very fine U.S. REMINGTON Model 1903 Modified, appears all original. Stamped "U.S. REMINGTON" and "MODEL 1903" on receiver ring, along with Serial # 3273754. Bottom of stock at grip is stamped "L", also stamped "P" inside a circle and stamped "AA". Bore is shiny and bright, with authentic leather sling. Wood shows some small dings of well cared for use. Overall in Very Good to Excellent condition. Few arms have served the U.S. military as long or as well as the famed "U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, Model 1903". Known as the "Springfield", or simply the "03", to several generations of American servicemen and arms enthusiasts, the M1903 has gained an enviable reputation as one of the best bolt-action military rifles of all time. Unusual TRENTON CONTRACT Civil War "Short" Musket in .58 Cal. with 24 inch barrel. Marked "1863" top of barrel at the very rear, with the marking "N.J." left side of barrel.
